About Carolyn,
Creating from her imagination has always been fun and ideas come easily. At age 10 she won a children's scholorship to the Art Institute of Chicago in a city-wide competition.
A style that expresses her emotions is key to her paintings. Working in oils,watercolor,acrylic, ink and pencil or in combination; prefering to work in the abstract form and using color,line,shape,texture and design.
Carolyn also favors portraits and life drawings, flowers, birds and animals(especially cows). She occasionally paints landscape on location and sometimes adds a bit of humor to a painting.
